I explore ideas like line, balance, tension, and form to create objects with soul – unapologetically elegant and fluid. With intriguing, absorbing energy that pulls you around like the next chapter in a great book.
John Warner’s sculptures defy predictability, taking unexpected turns as he navigates the unique challenges of each chosen medium. Working with salvaged and repurposed materials, Warner is committed to honoring their raw integrity, allowing his pieces to unfold organically. His practice is deeply attuned to the rhythms of the natural world, transforming discarded elements into works that celebrate resilience, beauty, and renewal.
Process
Warner approaches every creation with an openness to discovery. He begins each piece without a rigid plan, inspired by life’s fleeting, often-overlooked moments. Whether channeling the enduring strength of bronze, the quiet refinement of stainless steel, or the organic warmth of wood, Warner brings new life to forgotten materials, shaping them into forms that invite reflection and wonder.
